Hello! I'm Makayla Fuemmeler, a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in Visual Studies from the University of Missouri. Currently, I work as the Graduate Research Assistant under the Curator of European and American Art at the Museum of Art and Archaeology.
I graduated in May of 2022 with both a Graphic Design and Art History degree at the University of Central Missouri. Since graduating, I have acquired knowledge in data analysis and higher education while working as the Coordinator of Institutional Research at Central Methodist University.
During my final year of undergraduate study I gained experience within the field of Graphic Design through working as a graphic designer for the University of Central Missouri's Art and Design Department, as well as working closely with the Assistant Professor of Art History as a student worker. I enjoy taking on new projects that challenge me and push me to learn more.
My undergraduate work includes:
Illustration (Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
Typography (Hand Lettering)
Brand Identity (Package Design, Logo Design, Advertising, and Merchandise)
Animation (Adobe After Effects)
Layout Design (Magazine and Editorial design, Brochures)
